Draft 1 and Evaluation

EBI:

Way to dark – Lighting is the main problem
Voiceover – Echo
Guy in the bed confusing – Voiceover doesn’t match what she’s doing
Awkward pauses
Lipstick scene – you can’t read it. Make it far more scandalous
Music – needed to set the mood
Voiceover – continuously
Place – far more busy – exciting - show other men looking at her.
Titles should be through out
Beginning – Use more match on action – walking
Where the cigarette did came from? – Continuity
Props – Wine – Juice?
Confusing ending – Not sure what will happen to the rest?
Not meeting enough film noir conventions
-         Not black and white (Okay for now, till we use premiere editing program)
-         Strong contrasts of lighting
-         Women – isn’t powerful enough.

imovie - newer version

My group are going to be editing on the new Mac's which has the new imovie and Adobe premiere editing program therefore we have been looking at tutorials on their websites to help us get to know how the program works.
For our first draft we will be using the imovie although later on we will be working on premiere. To be able to use the program we have downloaded the free trail onto our own computers therefore we could practice editing at home.
